But, this has made my morning... Just found out this is opening in Soho - perfect considering I work in Leicester Square.

Needless to say my lunches will be taking place here now when there's a tour going on!

Next Saturday, 21st July, sees the opening of the new Rapha Cycle Club in London. Located in the heart of Soho on the site formerly occupied by the Regent Palace Hotel, the first permanent Rapha Cycle Club in the UK is the new home for the sport and wider culture of road racing.
With easy access to Regent’s Park, the Cycle Club is the perfect meeting place for road riders and combines an emporium of Rapha products and accessories with a café serving fine coffee and food. The Club will also screen live racing and host a full calendar of events and rides.
Doors open next Saturday, 21st July, at 8.30am and the weekend’s highlights will include all the action from the final weekend of the Tour.
Over the next week, a roving team of Rapha riders will be placing spoke cards in bike wheels around the capital. If you find one, bring it along to the Cycle Club and receive a complimentary coffee.
Needless to say my lunches will be taking place here now when there's a tour going on!

I remember the temporary one they opened in Clerkenwell Road a couple of years ago. It was a really cool place, and I enjoyed watching a few stages of the Tour there, so I hope this permanent place has a similar vibe - see you there!Raymondo

Might have a quick look next weekend although the clips I saw of it on the news yesterday confirmed my prejudicial view that it might be a bit wanky!0

I didn't go in the end so have nothing to report...0

Went and had a look on Monday. Nice little coffee shop with a big screen showing the Tdf. Seemed a nice place to start, stop of at/or finish ride at. Menu was divided into pre-ride/mid ride/post ride sections. Not too badly priced i thought as it is in london!1998 Kona Cindercone in singlespeed commute spec

I was in town yesterday, so popped in. I liked it. Is it a bit wanky? Well, depends on your view of Rapha. All I can say is that this particular brand extension is definitely 'on message' .....0 -
I watched the Road Race in there. Good crowd, plenty of TVs and I can confirm that they use 'that' coffee tamper behind the counter.
It's easy to have a dig, I suppose, but maybe give it a go and have a chat with others there before ridiculing on here.Ben

Coffee is good I thought. Its pricey, but in a pricey area of town - overheads must be high.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

I was on holiday in London last week and popped in to buy a jacket. I have to say that the staff were really helpful and gave me plenty of time to help me choose the correct product.
One of the cafe staff even looked after my 7yr old daughter and gave her a piece of chocolate brownie whilst I tried on the jackets and tops.
I just wish we had shops like this in Newcastle, but I guess it would cost me a small fortune if they did!0 -

That looks like a cool place and not too far from the train station. I make sure I pop in the next time we are in Edinburgh.
Thanks0
