Who's going to Paris then?

I personally know about a dozen people off to Paris for the weekend, to experience the atmosphere of the Tour's final day. Obviously the interest is in seeing a Brit win it for the first time, although I don't want to tempt fate by assuming that will be the case. However, barring any major mishaps, it looks like Wiggins will achieve what no other British rider has, and that is surely an event worth enjoying. I'm all booked, and like a saddo will be taking a bike to ride around as much as possible, but what the heck - this is the Tour de France! Any others planning to make the trip?

Been booked for months - staying 5 minutes from the Arche du Triomphe. Out on Friday evening, find a nice local bistro and have a few verre du vin. Saturday walk up Montmartre in the morning and maybe a museum after lunch and then find a bar to watch the last hour of the TT and see Brad rubber stamp the victory. Sunday sort out a place on the Champs Elysee and have a glass or two of champagne.
Can't wait !!0 -
I was semi planning on it but work had scanned it. Would have been ace to set up "Mod Corner" get in before those pesky Norwegians settie in!
Thumping out endless Jam, Who & Small faces tunes would be ace.. and certainly very different :P0 -
Love the 'Mod Corner' idea - I bet Wiggo would have come over for a chat!!Raymondo

Off early doors tomorrow on the Eurostar. Time trial on Sat and then hopefully watching history being made Sunday plus a nice win for Cavendish. Bit of sightseeing Monday then back to blighty in time for tea and medals0
