new pair of good xc pedals?

i am looking for a new pair of xc/trail pedals, have no idea of what to go for, i currently use a pair of superstar nano techs on my hard-tail, which are pretty darn good, no issues at all with them, but was wondering if there are any more i should consider before buying? Also, i Know that the new shimano saint 2013 pedals are gravity based, but could i get away with a pair of those??

If they're pretty darn good then if you really need to replace them then buy the same again.

Otherwise Wellgo MG1s come recommended.
