Moonlight sportives

a few years ago our local 'club' used to do moonlight rides in the summer months, they were superb, often on A roads that were unsuitable at other times were transformed into great traffic free runs, just wonderering if any people bother to do this type of semi- organised ride-- we did not do any official stuff, just went out as a group, took food with us and made sure there was a cafe near the end that was open --- oh and there was no money to pay to go for a ride !
