Hello.
I would really like to go to watch the road race on box hill and I realise that there are ticket only areas. I have also read that there will be restricted numbers of 15000 on box hill. What I want to know is are all those 15000 actual ticketed numbers? and is there room for other people without tickets actually on the slopes outside of these areas.
I understand the ticketed areas will be on the zig zag and at Donkey green but there are slopes above and below the zig zag. Will these be accessible to the general viewing public?

As far as I know the only part of Boxhill accessible is the ticketed area.

Richmond Park may work as you'd see them twice, but Box Hill is totally ticketed.

I have tickets and want to ride down but I'm threatened by the 'limited bike parking'.

Grab a G4S Hi-viz and stand where you want. Given the lack of proper staff, a volunteer will be welcomed with open arms
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Seriously? The whole hill is ticketed? :( I'm gutted. How rubbish is that?

What about the rest of the Box Hill loop. Surely they can't restrict access to the whole loop.

I'm surprised they haven't sold the Olympic TV rights to Sky just to make absolutely sure that you can't see anything without buying a ticket or a subscription.

I'm going to go along to the cycling festival at the Denbies vineyard nearby. The race is on the big screen and you will get to see the race go past (albeit not on the hill). Its only a short walk to the hill so you could try your luck to get up there
