Back of Skiddaw loop

Went out for a quick blast, took my camera and grabbed a few photos.

Looking up Dash Falls, managed to clear the climb a few weeks ago, gets loose and steep towards the top. Just walked it seeing I was on the SS!

Overall it's a nice loop, it starts with about 6 miles of road though, but the next ten is worth it.

it is a nice loop. i've only ridden it once, but that climb was a bugger. not too steep or anything, just very loose and techy. all totaly worth it for the ride down latrig at the end!

You'll have to excuse the lack of photos down Latrigg, too busy enjoying the down! Really got to reign it in though, too many walkers on there!

yeah latrig is a very busy bit of trail, weekday evenings are about the only time you will find it quiet. every now and then me and a few mates will park at the pools in keswick and do skiddaw as an evening ride. its around 2 and a half hours to the top, and about 20 mins down :shock:

Yeah, I've done that, turned the edge of the disc brake spokes brown with braking! They got rather stinky!
