Which Pump?

Hi Guys

I need to buy my first pump for going out on rides , i need on that is robust and will fit in a rucksack.

My budget is around £40 or less

    Lezyne Micro Floor Drive

    Lezyne make (IMO) the best pumps, and this one is portable (300mm long) and very capable.
    How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

    i like that one do you know the size differences between medium and small.

    i like the gold one and the red one they look sleek - dont they

    Yep, smaller one will take more pumps to get to the required psi

    I have one of those in the Camelbak. Brilliant little thing.

    just had a thought .... do i need to have a gauge on my pumps

    If you care what psi you run, yes. To get you home, no.

    Not reaally about too much, it's about maxing grip from deformation.

    Get yourself a track pump for at home with a gauge on. Use that for setting up your bike, changing tyres etc. You can then experiment with what pressures suit you etc and tweak as appropriate. A hand pump for on trail repairs.

    Lezyne are excellent, you wont be disappointed.
