basically i will need some new pretty soon. is there a lot of difference between different brands or are they pretty similar in terms of performance? wouldnt of thought there was much difference? its for a 9 speed xt mech. cheers, chris

I like TACX - good quality and cheaper than XT. BBB Rollerboys are also good.

I have CNC type ones on my XT mech and they have lasted ages, no sign of wear.

Except they say random colour, so probably puke green or whatever didn't sell.
