Regarding the advice given here on fitting an Aliante saddle

Got my aliante in the post from a fellow BR member , took the advice given to me by Nap D and JGSI and fitted the aliante, placed a hard book on top of it and made adjustments that made the spirit level bubble sit dead centre. I climbed onboard the bike to take it a test spin around the block and it felt like I was going to topple forth onto the handlebars :shock: . No problem with reach nor saddle height at all, but the centered spirit level bubble fitting was a huge non starter for me. A perfect balanced installation for me was with the nose raised just a tiny bit higher than the spirit level centered one. Im curious as to how other riders are using the aliante in dead center level, I thought I was going to fall forward off my bike when I tried it.
