Hey I recently tripped my 2004 orange 5 frame down to have it powder coated as was looking a bit dog eared. Since I rebuilt it the swing arm has been making a loud thumping noise when compressing after a drop. I recently had the shock serviced and all the bearing and caps are tight. I can find no visible explanation for this and its driving me nuts. Any suggestions as to what's causing the thump and how to solve it would be well appreciated.

  • It's had a new set of bearing. The fame was thoroughly cleaned when I got it back. All blasting gunk was blown out with an air line. The cables have all the correct fixings and appear to be fine. Also the headset is tight and wheel bearing cones ate tight.
