Ragley Mmm bop frame purchased in Blue off the mighty ebay with a hope headset.I've currently got an early GT Tequesta from 98 with the following :-

Manitou Answer SX forks
FSA XC-190 Stem
FSA FR-331 680mm Freeride Riser Bar
Microshift Marvo XE 8 speed rear mech
Avid V brakes-
I believe the front mech is Shimano LX, but as it's not to hand not sure.

Now the question is, Do I build it up with some of those parts and cannibalise the GT to use the Ragley this summer? basically I'm a little strapped for cash and it doesn't help having to save up for a wedding either (Im in the bad books)

Not really any point since it will no doubt ride worse than the GT.

Manitou SX forks, what are they, 80mm travel?

The ragley should be set up with a short stem, wide bars and 140mm forks. It has no v brake mounts. Your current wheels probably dont have disc mounts.

All in all, I'd say get your wedding sorted.

Then immediately get a divorce and take your partner to the cleaners.

Hopefully she'll have enough assets worth selling that'll give you the money to build up the MMMBop

Haha, I was afraid that would be the case.

I will ride terrible with those parts. Get new bits, tell the boss you spent it all on the wedding car & pay some bloke down the pub with a flash car £100 to do the job. Simple, what could go wrong....
