Ok, So I have some hope pro 2 (32h) hubs from 2008 built into mavic xm 719 rims. I'm looking to lop off some weight and came across these.
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Kits ... elID=85165
Claimed weight is 1698g
My current wheels are 1880g
Can anyone suggest a Rim I could buy to build (Myself) onto the pro 2's That would save me more weight Going to build with DT Revolution spokes. Have £200 to spend Hence looking at the reduced Eastons

Im getting new wheels or rims anyway. Saving any weight, especially on the wheels is a bonus.
Your whole rear mech weighs that. And?
Cheers for the helpful advice.0
