Is this editing an improvement? (Videos - please watch!)

I've got Sony Vegas as I'm planning on doing another couple of proper videos next month (one XC, one DH). I've been learning how to use the software by making another edit out of all the old footage from the 2 videos I've done before.
Is this an improvement on the other 2 below? If you could tell me what's good and what's bad then it would be a big help.
Re-edit using Sony Vegas:

Older edits using Windows Movie Maker:

Thanks

Yes an improvement. Got to be careful not to overdo it with the slow-mo stuff. Otherwise really good, now get some new footage, want to see the spicy in action.0

+1 re slow mo stuff but a way better edit, helped by the fact the music you used doesnt sound like it was recorded through the camera's microphone and played from the stereo in a 1996 Ford Fiesta L.
Play around with your camera angles a bit more too - there is a lot of ever so slightly dull side on and not much panning to elongate the action. I know you cant chuck zip lines up in the trees and so on but its worth getting creative to vary what the viewer sees. Also a tripod could be worth investing in if you want to get serious about it.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0
