broken ddg shooter

my brothers just given me his old ddg shooter to use but it seems the weld on the bb to chain stay is cracked is it repairable do you think or just junk it ? it hasnt been ridden in about 6 years

i havent any pics yet till lunch to show the damage

    i personally wouldnt say it was worth it - DDG was an own brand of Super Cycles in Nottingham if i remember right. The cost of repairing it will outweigh the cost of the frame i would have thought....unless you can take it back there and see if they can offer any repairs? (Might have a local welder that they use???)

    Dirt jump bikes aren't a pleasant place to be if you're constantly worrying about a repaired weld breaking!

    no problem then shall strip the bits off and keep them as natty ornaments :)
