Cyclo X Tyre advice

I have some very pants Continental Cyclocross Race tyres on my Genesis CDF and want to change them for something fast rolling and grippy.

I have had the bike 2 months and have had 6 pinch flats so far and its really bloody annoying, I have also had the back end slide out from under me twice. I was thinking of some slicks for commuting (grippy slicks if possible) and some more CX style for weekends and trails, forest tracks etc...

Any advice would be great

I'm currently running Continental Tour Rides for the commute, and Schwalbe Smart Sams for the rough, both in 700c x 35. They work for me.

For info, I run both about 60psi

And they work out at about 20 quid a tyre.
