Bottom bracket farcical farce

I thought this here bottom bracket was the outlaw adult only say what you want (within legal reason) generally unmoderated section.

So why can;t you say the "f" word and why does it get changed automatically into "fark"?

Next thing we know the communters will have it closed down and a really pointless new sub forum opened up to replace it.

    The swear word filter is a global thing that is the same for all forums. It's just the way the software works.

    So with this global filter a new form of swearing will develop and eventually the old one will not be 'offensive' to delicate ears, this has happenned over the centuries-- cnut was an everyday word in middle ages used by chaucer and willie shakes, now when it appears in court its a big thing--- well not so big, although its all bout context innit ?

    EDIT: The t - w - a - t word has now been added to the BikeRadar profanisaurus and now comes out as "fool" when typed into the no rules, anything goes, gloves off bottom bracket.

    The farcical farce is that since the division of Cake Stop into Cake Stop Lite and Bottom Bracket, both are more rubbish and less good than Cake Stop used to be. As a result I am doing more work and less surfing than I used to. I used to find CS pretty funny and at times hilarious. CSL and BB seem to be going through the motions of humour.

    Is it possible to have a Cake Stop Normal like before? BB is tamer than CS used to be, and CS is like mumsnet without the spoof accounts.

    BB seems a waste of time to me. Just put the Girls in... thread back in cake stop and shut BB. wasn't the multiple girls in threads the whole problem in the first place?
