Hi, If I get a bike which has an 80mm Suntour Fork will it be o.k swapping this for a 100mm Air Fork in terms of handeling etc?

If I got a specialized Myka 15" which has a Suntour 80mm fork I wondered if I would be able to swap the fork for rockshox Recon Silver 100mm?
