Hi All
Looking to get a Road Bike after a few years of MTB routes.
Seen these at my local Halfords:

Obviously Boardman is the better bike but is it worth the extra £ over the other two for a Road beginners bike? Also, what are your thoughts on the two Carrera models, is TDF or Virtuoso a better bike?
Budget is around £400 max
Thanks

Obv. size dependant and you also get a Synapse for £20 more ...
OK, it's not £400 but search the net and then do the math ...0 -
Btwin Triban 3 from Decathlon £300 and better than any of those!

The virtuoso is a decent bike, the old TDF was alright for the money but a bit heavy. I think either would do you as a first bike.
Although the other two posts are both very true also. Pauls cycles have some bargains.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
