My wife collected her Cube Access WLS Pro which has the above forks fitted. She loves the bike, but on it's maiden foray into the FOD, I noticed that her forks were hardly moving. I checked them and even though I am big, I couldn't get more than 60mm of travel (quoted as 100mm on the website).

When we got back, I looked for a valve so I could use my shock pump to change things, but there's no valve at the top of the legs, and, although there is a valve at the bottom, when you press it, foamy bubbles come out.

There is nothing on the fork to show how you change rebound so I'm thinking that the valve must be for letting air out. The foamy bubbles have put me off experimenting any more.

Anyone got any experience of this?

Sadly, I have no idea. They're completely unbranded apart from the name!

They're black with chrome stanchions if that's any help!

I've had a good look at the Suntour website, but it's quite vague. The LBS we bought the bike at couldn't help either.

What is at the top and bottom of each leg? Top of right leg (riders perspective) should be the lockout. Bottom of leg should be a rebound adjuster. On the model I tested top of left leg had an air valve.

Or take some pics for us.

Air valve should be under a screw cap on one side, if it's the same as the Epicons anyway.

The top of the right leg has the lockout, and at the bottom of the same leg is what I assume is the rebound adjust. When I turned the cap it came off revealing what looked like a valve for a pump. I could attach my Rockshox pump to it but it didn't pump it up or let it down. It was only when I pushed the valve with an allen key that it let air out. The odd thing was that it came out with greasy bubbles. The other for leg has nothing on it at the bottom, and the top has a cap but it doesn't look like it's meant to be removed. There as no way I could get any purchase on it.

Can you take pics of what you have got? may be an OE model not listed on the site.

Problem solved - when trying to get some snaps, I decided that the bottom of the right hand leg had to be the air valve so, using man logic, I let the air out. As if by magic, the forks became very soft. So, I've pumped them up again a little and they seem much more compliant.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
