Yep, Holme Moss in Yorkshire... Was hard work and no great pace especially against 16mph westerly winds... But I got there!

Nice! I went up there on thursday, wind wasn't too bad on the way up (coming from Holmfirth), but it definitely slowed me on the descent, but I was still over 40mph most of the way down. Was a tough day on the bike but I enjoyed it and shall be back when the weather/work permits.
I wasn't sure how well I'd do as last week I changed the cassette from a 11-28 to an 11-25, but still managed it (albeit slowly: http://www.strava.com/rides/manchester-greater-manchester-united-kingdom-13202502)0 -
Looks like hell, but surely that's a cat 2?0

I rode up from the Holmfirth side, tho I started at my friends house in Thongsbridge. It was interesting on the descent at the wind kept pushing me off to the other side of the road!
I have several sets of that kit - work's team kit.
Cat 1 or Cat 2? Most sites I looked at said Cat 1, including BR http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/r ... road-9910/Invacare Spectra Plus electric wheelchair, max speed 4mph0 -
The raw stats (distance, av gradient) says that Holme Moss shouldn't be that bad, but I always struggle up it - mostly because of the wind. And always seems to be at the end of a ride too. Hate it! IN that area, much prefer the Isle of Skye Greenfield -> Holmfirth (or Meltham) - great climb.0
