My bikes - 'old' full-suss and brand-new 29er!

Two important things happened today. It stopped raining for 27 minutes, allowing me time to clean my full-suss, and my new bike arrived.
My full-suss is a 2011 Canyon Nerve XC 6.0 and the new bike is my first 29er, the 2012 Grand Cayon AL 29, 7.9.
Both bikes are 'entry-level' models but I am incredibly impressed with both. The 7.9, being my first 29er, is a revelation (well, it appears to be, as only rode it for 10 minutes!) Feels very light, much easier to handle than I anticipated and so, so quick.
Obviously the 7.9 is as standard so far. Only thing tht needs changing are the grips - once they start to turn yellow! On the Nerve, I've added a Fizik Gobi saddle and Superstar Nano pedals.
Anyone thinking of purchasing from Canyon - just go for it!

Thanks.
I know, I've been meaning to remove the one on the Nerve for the best part of nine months! I'll get round to it one day, I'm sure.
Took the 29er out for an hour last night and must say that, for a bike that 'only' cost a little over a grand, it is very, very good. OK, so the brakes aren't really up to much but they'll do for the time being. I know there are many, many 29er haters out there, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but give one a go - you may be surprised!0
