Make shift front bag

Hey guys quick question how can I hold a tent up on my handle bars it's only a small 2 man tent and I've tried using Velcro straps but just seems to fall into my gear cables?

Any ideas much app

    First thing that springs to mind is to cable tie a plank across your bars and stem (so it's mounted at three points, not two) and then strap your tent to that.

    Not to worry now managed to use some bungee and made a T shape across my bars and stem and just one Velcro strap over to hold it in place
