Good question. I accidentally ordered a pair forgetting that I should have got ordered one specific for grip-shift with the right one shorter than the left. Various shops stock them so I would hope you can find one near to you where you can take a look (and support your LBS). Dare I say there are a few imitations around too at lower cost. I have a pair on my winter hack which work fine, but definitely don't have the quality of the genuine Ergon article.

Compared to rubber grips, especially the thin lock ons with their plastic cartridges, these are in a different league. Are pretty firm on the outside, but have a very cushioned (and damped) 'give' to them which really does make a difference.0
