Stupid question, how do I take my front wheel off

2011 Carrera fury, front has a quick release axle,

now I get that I pull the lever down, and then can unscrew the other end, but the other end doesn't come all the way off? am I supposed to remove the small circlip from the end?

Release the lever, slightly unscrew the other end, then push it through. It should pinch together and slide out.

Just remember to do it up when you put it back on again, so the lever has resistance and is tight.

You need to unscrew the QR enough to go over the 'safety' bumps that stop the wheel completely coming off should it come undone mid ride.

I don't think it's a normal QR, it's some kind of QR/screw-through hybrid thing. So Waby's answer might be better than Chunkers'.
