Vuelta - Froome Vs Contador?

Watching Froomes acceleration yesterday I thought this might make for a good scrap.

I know Froome might be knackered but Contador won't have much 'real' racing in his legs.

Has Sky/Froome spoken of his plans after the Olympics? Is there any chance of it happening???

I haven't heard anything but perhaps Sky will let him have a crack at it as a "reward" for sterling service helping Wiggins. On his form, why not? And if Andy Schleck is back the Vuelta could be quite a prospect.

I think there is quite a good chance! IT would be even better if Andy is back but latest reports suggest he won't be

Think I read Schleck is out for the season.

Froomes participation would spice things up, otherwise I reckon Contador will walk it.
  • Would Froome be recovered properly after a tough TdF?

Off course, he's only riding at 50% so he doesn't blow Wiggins away ;)
