I took my rear wheel in for them to replace the cassette and the fella disappeared and came back a couple of minutes later with it done and didnt charge me anything - I know its a quick job but I wasnt expecting it to be done there and then and its made my day.
I use them from time to time for mechanical stiff as they are near work and its always really quick but today was outstanding and they are at least deserving of a cheers!

You should really know how to replace a cassette. It takes 2 minutes.0

They are nice in there though. I've used them before and they're very friendly0

I should know and one day I will - I dont have the tool and backed out of buying one cos I bought the things I needed to re-grease my hubs which I managed but getting the cones properly tightened ended in a sweary mess and a trip to the mechanic anyway
and I feel my decsion was validated as it was free 8)0 -
+1 for Decathlon.
Use them for lots of sports stuff. My son has one of their full suss MTBs which IMHO for the price is unbeatable.
We use the Stockport store and they are never anything but polite and helpful there.
Just 'cos it's a big shop doesn't mean that they will be cr&p.
Good choice to let them do that job if it's freeSC Heckler

I've found a few good bargains on bike gear in the Sheffield store from time to time. There is often some quality stuff at remarkable prices hiding amongst their bog standard gear.0
