Hi
As I am new to all this I would like to get some beginner training in the Surrey / middx area
I have found these two but was wondering if any of you had and experience of them or had any other ideas

It is always a good idea to get some training before you start out on a new adventure because if you get it wrong, you could be put off riding and enjoing the the times to be had.
I think the second one of the two looks good but thats just my opinion. It all depends on the distance from your location to the cource location, taking into account fuel and accomadation prices.
If you do deside to go on a course make sure that you take the basic equipment, ie:- helmet, gloves, glasses (eye protection) 8) , bike lock, warm top, light weight water proof jkt, water bottle or hydration pack and don't forget some munchies and your mobile phone. There will be a kit list from the course provider set as a guide line.

Quite a lot of the people I ride with have used Jedi (Tony Doyle) and swear by him

They are all generally ahead of me so it must do something.
But you learn most by just riding, if you can get to Surrey Hills or Swinley Forest you are more than welcome to join in with us. We ride for fun and never leave anyone to get eaten by wolves or bears.
Have a look in London Calling in Rides, or the Facebook link in my sig. Something planned (not well planned really but kind of sort of more or less planned) most weekends, although this coming one looks a bit damp and rubbish.I don't do smileys.
