Does anyone else suffer with chaffing?
Noticed that im getting a bit raw right in my groin. Does anyone have any tips to stop this? Can you get some sort of gel?

Chafing is where two surfaces rub, decrease friction with lubricants or avoid friction by not allowing surfaces to meet.
People here are the experts on lube, use it as a temporary solution, but also try to address the problem.my isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
Sudocrem works just as well in my experience and is a lot cheaper.0

Cream helps the symptoms. A cure to the problem might be better fitting shorts or a better fitting saddle (saddle too soft or too wide can cause chafing).0

I use emovate - seems to work for me - but biggest problem comes from ballsack rubbing on leg - so against all advice I use skimpy pants underneath to keep my tackle out of the way - works for me (now prepares to be flammed).0

I'm with you, just can't bring myself to go commando and little pants don't seem to cause any issues. I reckon some folk just like to feel freer in their shorts :shock:0 -
I use Vaseline / Petroleum jelly - very cheap and works for me.0

I'm not having a go at your spelling, but do you mean eumovate? If so, don't use it too regularly as it's a corticosteroid.0 -
Beef dripping...
Save cash on the return by getting the dog to shower you off with some slurps.0 -

OK not sure why corticosteroid should be bad? I only use it once in a blue moon for rides over 75 miles otherwise I don't use anything with no issues.
I got the Eumovate from the doctor as I get dry skin (eczema) from time to time.0 -

It's not really designed for what you are using it for, and prolonged and excessive use can thin the skin and make you MORE prone to skin damage.0 -
apparently putting a loaf of soreen down there stops the chaffing on long rides...Always remember.... Wherever you go, there you are.
