I have half asked this before, but thought I'd double check. Me and the mrs should be off to Grizedale tomorrow, apparently it's going to be sunny
She's not too experienced at mtb, so we'll stick to the forest roads, but I wonder if her bike will cope with that? It's a carrera subway, rigid with relatively skinny tyres. We're not racing around or owt, just pottering! Any recommendations for which route to pick, or are they all equally boring!!?
Also, is the black run very technical, or is it rollable like llandegla stuff? Could I realistically sneak off for a quick bash down that whilst we're there!?
Cheers folks

If you are doing the north face trail it is a mix of fire roads and rocky single track. Its hard to compare to Llandegla as its so different.0

i'd imagine they're all equally boring but from memory there's sculptures and stuff to have a look at which could be alright?
The North Face trail tends to intertwine with the fireroads so it may be possble to pick a route where you split up at one bit of fire road and meet up further along. e.g the beam me up scottie section on this http://www.forestry.gov.uk/pdf/englandn ... ailmap.pdf. Just an idea, i've never really done it but i don't see why it wouldn't work0
