does anyone know of a cycle friendly route from the ferry at st Malo to Chateaunuef D'Ille-et-Villaine all my maps show the D137 as a motorway

    Google it and put the little man on it. It just seems to be a very busy dual carriageway. Not pleasant.

    There's a bike route (or at least reasonable cycle lanes) along the coast. Going west there's a signed scenic route along the river estuary to (IIRC Dinan) - a much more scenic and quieter option than the main road. It's signed (again going from memory) From the first bridge across the river. Hope that's of some help.
  • Thanks for your help have had a look at google maps as sugested and found it has bike freindly routes and also street view makes it much easier off on Sunday to cycle from St Malo to Spain over Pyrennes I'll post on my experience of getting out of St Malo. Cheers again Andy
