Presumably Brands Hatch, being a track, would be smoother than 'real' roads? I've been around there in a car on a couple of trackdays, but luckily didn't see the tarmac close-up

The tarmac at Brands is fairly good but it is the same stuff as on many pulic highways in terms of material.
There are obviously no significant potholes but it is by no means butter smooth and there are definte rough patches (particularly in the heavy braking areas where the cars ripple it up).
Absolutley fine for cycling on though.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
