SS Kevlar Pads

I bedded the pads in properly, then after my first ride I found the rear pads had glazed over so I sanded them. My problem is that anytime I've gone out since, it takes a good 10-20minutes for the rear pads to warm up and bite. The front pads will bite straight from cold. Anyone have any idea why there's such a difference?

sure they were glazed and were not contaminated?

I'd cleaned the rotor etc with IPA before I fitted them. But surely if the pads were contaminated they wouldn't start working once they warmed up? With contaminated pads ive had before they just didn't work, no matter if they were used the whole ride or not.
