Any tips or places in Slovakia

Heading to Slovakia in August and just wondering if any body knows any good mtb'ing spots?

    I think that the Jasna ski resort keeps the lifts open in Summer for mountain bikers - haven't been over there but it looks fun.

    I'm now around Stupava, 15 minutes drive north of Bratislava. Here you ride in the Male Carpathians. it's not very technical but loads of stuff. From Bratislava you ride directly to the forest or 10 minutes drive.

    I think there's a bike park in kalnika, 1 hour or so north of Bratislava.

    May be a little late to the party on this one....

    But when I was in Lake Bled last year there were loads of MTB tours from around that area. Also, Lake Bohinj - you can take your bike up in the cable car and hammer down Vogel
