Hello bikeradarers!
I've recently moved to Mallorca but in traveling over I've managed to lock up both my brakes whilst wheels were off. I've done all the usual things to release (Although I'm no mech!) but with no joy.... Took the bike (Specialised Pitch) to a shop in Palma but they've quoted me €175 to replace pads, discs and fluid. Thought this was OTT as pretty sure there's nothing wrong with any of the above other than the fluid!
I'm based about 20 minutes from Palma but have a van so anywhere around there would be awesome!
'Muchos gracias' in advance and HAPPY BIKING : )

so what are these usual things?
and what brakes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

get a pad seperator
stick it in caliper
then use the brake lever (a combo of braking action and flicking the lever) do this for a min or two
replace wheel and check that it is not fowling
short story - its the auto pad adjustment
long story - there is a poppet valve in the master cylinder, and you are resetting its position (that is in regard to fluid volume in the line) - bleeding the brakes is pretty much dame process but with new fluid, and seems very expensive a bleed kit on ebay is £20 max0
