Need some buying advice.
Thinking of getting one of theses wheel sets to replace my old stumpy wheels.

or
Superstar switch evo hubs and stan crest rims

Don't mind any other suggestions if people have any? Currently riding dtswiss 420sl rims on stout hubs. Would like them to be lighter and stronger than these if that is possible. I am 14 stone and generally ride trail centre and only really tackle small drops.

The Superstar - lighter, wider rims (if that is what you need), more (and superior spokes), and possibly better hubs.0

+1, they are also easier to go tubeless with if you so desire.0 -
Just reading through mbuk and they recommend these fulcrum red power xl. They quote £250 but found then a lot cheaper here

I'v got a set of Fulcrum wheels and they have been great, however others have found the spares to be pricey.
But I'm about to order the superstars, for the money I can't fault them (will be my third set)0 -
Got the ArchEX with DH Trizoid/Switch Evo hubs - awesome wheelset. Loves the rough stuff too."Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Just avoid this wheel set in conjunction with this online store, You will loose all kind of warranty if any problem. I unfortunately had my rear hub totally destroyed ...

I have the identical set (with CX Ray spokes) and very much agree with the above comment.0
