Worthy alternative to Trance x4?

As I can't get a Giant from Evans Cycles on the Cycle to work scheme is this a good alternative?

This would be an upgrade from my Giant Terrago Trail bike with its upgraded forks and brakes.

Alternatively do I get a new interest free credit card and get a Trance this year or next?

Is a hardtail though - the Trance x4 is a full sus bike. As it stands is a decent bike for the money though.

It's a decent enough AM bike, a bit budget specced but so is the Trance X4. I rode one a bit last summer and they are light weight enough mile munchers for what they are.
