Best bike I've ever ridden, so much better than my old Izoard and anything else I've had as well, but I will be selling her to get a very special Wilier...
After trying soooo many bikes over the years, nothing comes close to Wilier for ride quality and style in my opinion
Anyway, here she is, full Dura-Ace and Ritchey WCS build. Strong, purposeful and very light indeed!!
The engine room... Wilier integrated oversize BB has the whole frame encasing the BB junction for amazing power transfer. Looks cool too!
Integrated seat post is super light, stiff for flat-out power in the saddle, yet absorbs buzz, and most importantly NO SEAT POST CREAKS OR MOVEMENT! (A pet hate! )
One-piece stays are comfy yet stiff. Looks very cool, reminds me of the vintage 1990's Yeti ARC mountain bikes!
And I cannot belive how comfy the Ritchey carbon bars are compared to aluminium bars
Hope you Wilier fans out there like her!

Nice looking bike - identical frame to mine - will be better still with the right groupsethttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png
Wiliers: Cento Uno/Superleggera R and Zero 7. Bianchi Infinito CV and Oltre XR20 -
Drool - lovely bike - one to aspire to for me0

Stunning bike, good to ride?ARTHUR
"Hello oh great one"
LARRY
"Are you talking to me or my ass?"0 -
ILM - cheeky... I'm half-Italian but still admit the Japanese Dura-Ace is king
Calpol - thanks pal, shes a size large / 55.5cm if you fancy her
gaddster - thanks, she rides sublimely, does EVERYTHING well: mashing, sprinting, climbing, descending, comfort, sharpness, handling, stiffness... the absolute perfect balance. If the SL and Zero7 are indeed any better they must be incredible... If I do indeed sell her I will be finding out0 -
Liberata: the Zero 7 is a radically different bike, all the geometries seem different and it is a much hasher ride than the Cento - it took about 10 long rides for me to be able even to feel comfortable on it. Its not easy to find one to ride, but if at all possible you should or it could be one hell of a shock. it is not the same but better, its seriously different!http://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Agree with ILM zero7 . Hi end Italian bikes should only sport campag, it should be law.0

As much as I like Shimano, it just doesn't suit this bike...Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Whoah , that's nice! Very stylish ! I'd want mine in black and white though . I've never liked red bikes alot .0

It's a Cento Uno so it gets my thumbs up.
@ ILM zero 7 - how is the Superleggera Racing for ride comfort? Even though it's going to be discontinued this year (I think) it's still on my list of bikes I must own. It'll either be an SR or a C59 frame next year...0 -
Haha I love both Campagnolo and Shimano... I think Wilier 101 with Dura-Ace is a nice change as most are Campag equipped.
I've ridden both Super Record 11 and Dura-Ace 7900 and whilst they are both fantastic, I just prefer the Dura-Ace levers and slightly quicker and slicker shifting than the Campag. Function over tradition for me! Plus I get the benefit of Italian flair and Japanese technology in perfect harmony0 -

That's not surprising, but how would you say the Super Leggera compares to the standard Cento? It's slightly lighter and probably stiffer due to the 60T carbon, but is it as smooth/comfy as the "softer" 46T standard Cento Uno??
You are a lucky man to be able to have the chance to make these distinctions every day! Excellent taste though sir0 -

They really are good, aren't they!0

Class bike. These and the Cervelo RS are my favourite bikes ever as they don't beat you up when you ride them, but are still proper race bikes, not old men's tourers! They also look the part too unlike certain ugly "endurance" bikes...
Amazingly they aren't making this frame anymore (like the Cervelo RS!!) so it's going to be a modern classic for sure!
The 2013 SR is much more "sore lower back" geometry too, and nowhere near as pretty. The classic Wilier white, black and red is just soooo nice!0 -
Thanks, I feel the same!
In fact, I've now test ridden the new 2013 SR, the Super Leggera and the Zero.7...
Then I bought my new Wilier.
Guess what it is?
Another standard Cento Uno  but a size up from my white/black/red one. The XL size gives me less saddle to bars drop and just suits me better now that I have admitted I'm not as flexible as I'd like to be to ride the smaller frame.
I found the Zero too harsh and the aggressive position doesn't suit my riding as I like to go out for a few hours, fast yet comfortable.
Similarly for the 2013 SR, too low at the front and harsh compared to the Cento I am used too. The Super Leggera geometry is spot on (same as Cento), but I found it noticeably more shakey - not as comfortable, smooth or stable as the standard Cento Uno. So there you go, original is best!
So my size Large is now fully for sale and she must go now to a new Wilier fan!
Pics of my new XL Cento to follow soon, still tweaking stem length etc to get it perfect for me.0 -
Beautiful bike!
I bought a 2011 cento uno frameset today off craigslist and unfortunately it is too large (size L and I need M). I'm really disappointed because I would love to ride this bike. I'll be keeping my eye open for a M and this frame will be going on eBay sadly.0
