Hey,
So i bought a new RS recon sl solo air with 100mm travel(at least that is what i was told).
My problem is that the visible part of the stanchions?(the gliding part) is only 90mm so if i am not mistaken the fork is at most 90mm travel.
My question is should i send back the fork for not meeting the requirements they specified or the fork is adjustable some way to 100mm travel?

Sounds like they may be set at 80mm... you need to get the service manual and open them up, looking for travel spacers.0

Or send them back and get them to do it - definitely falls intot he not fit for the purpose you bought them for I think!
Unless where you got them from told you you would need to do this I dont think I'd accept them.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -
This might be a bit of a durrrr question, but have you completley unweighted the fork when you measure the stanchions?Very funny Scotty, now beam me down my clothes.0
