Still looking for a new bike, was looking at Voodoo Bokor or a Specialized Rockhopper Expert but went in to the Cycle Surgery today and the sales person showed me the 29er's. The Cube Acid 29 looks good to me but I'm not sure.
Any one have one of these?
What do people think of 29er's?

Most of what I ride is road and local trails. Sometimes the local woods but that's about it

Thanks in advance

It's pretty similar to the Focus Black Forest 29er I bout recently for commuting and XC. My commute is a 30 mile round trip through woods, down bridalways and on road so quite similar to what you mention and it's been excellent. Before this I have used a 26" hardtail, 160mm full sus and cx bike for the same route and the 29er has to be my favorite.

Someone on here recenlty bough the cube you mention so could proabably tell you more about it, have a look through the "I have just ordered" thread, that's where I saw it.

I have recently purchased A rockhopper expert, it is a great bike! Particularly light and has good drivetrain. I recommend it 100%!
