    Reminds me more of a cyclocross race! I didn't see anything that a suspension fork would be needed for!

    Yes one guy was riding a cross-bike but there a lot of slippery roots and it was raining during the night. You can do this for 10 rounds for sure but not for 65 rounds. For example at 1:28 you have a lot of speed and go over some rocks and roots (if you look at the rider in the background) this is really shaking you even if you have suspension and 2" tires. Also the section at 2:40 is also not recommended for a cross bike. In 2009 the track was slightly different but (due to too many accidents) the track was changed. But I really like it. There also some sections not in the video. You are welcome to try the track. If you start today you could make it for the weekend in 96h nonstop riding;-)
