Finally gave up on riding the "triggers broom" MTRAX and brought a Cube 2012. 4 days old and I absolutely love it. 2 days to work (26 mile round trip) and I cant stay off it! Highly recommended, excellently finished!.

Here's another beastly picture, ready for Cannock Sunday!

Everything on this bike screams quality and I had STX finishing on the good OLD MTRAX.
Cheers

Thanks.. I'm so pleased with it. I was considering a Specialized Rockhopper Expert. Tried this and it screamed quality and I couldnt find another bike with same spec finishing for the price. I've waited a long time for it and its finally here.

Its the first time ive used SPD clips and I christened it on the way home by falling off at a standstill and scraping my selle italia seat! It was right outside work too, hopefully noboday saw me looking a fool. Cant wait for the Cannock Chase debut for it Sunday now.

I had mine set loose to start with, it didn't help me to clip in which seems to be my problem.

    Nice cube buddy,
Like the paint jobs that cube has done over the past couple of years.

    Ooooh they did! :P

I have done the same thing when i went clipless - stopped outside the house after a 28 mile ride, forgot i was wearing them, toppled over and ripped my saddle also.

How are the formulas? Id like to upgrade my Oro18's at some point and would like to stick with formula.

I'm giving some serious consideration to buying a Cube LTD 2012 bike (I like the look of the black version).

Can I ask where did you buy it from?

    Thanks,

    Hi all,

The formula brakes are amazing! I bedded them in good and proper at Cannock Chase. So much so that they threw me over the handle bars on a rocky decent. Having the toe clips on meant that I had a Cube bike jump on top of me and crash on my chest. One cracked rib later and another stationary fall and I made it. Throughly love this bike, need to get used to the V-brake to disc change and SPD's.

I've never felt the need to wash and clean this bike after a ride, but I do now. The shifting is spot on and the recon adjustable forks are great.....couldnt live without the remote pop lock again.

Now its 2 scrapes on the selle italia lol.

P.S. The bike was from Leisure Lakes in Derby. Gresat retailer, really helpful and definately glad I brought the LTD over other models.
    Cheers
