Twisted Rear Mech?

Might be a stupid question but.... My rear mech seems to be playing up with shifting into the largest gear in that it's randomly started throwing the chain over the back of the cassette which was pretty annoying when I ground to a halt on a climb!
I've just had the chance to take a quick look - figured it shouldn't be the stops surely as they should have moved as I've not adjusted them. I did notice though (while the bike was upside down lubing the fork seals...) that the rear mech looks twisted. The top jockey wheel looks out of line (not parallel) to the cassette.

Does this look right? Wondering if I've buggered something when I ballsed up a drop last time I rode it (when it worked properly). I'm going to check the hanger and clean it since it's ditched but does this look wrong?

It looks bent to me but it could be the camera angle.0

Yup it definitely looks like your mech to a knock at some point and it's bent. The jockey wheels should be in a straight vertical line with the current gear and by the looks of that picture they are not. You could try forcing it back the other way as a temp fix, you can apply a fair amount of pressure as they are pretty strong.
Check the mech hanger also, even a couple of degree bend in that can throw off the indexing of the gears and cause problems. I experienced that with a bike in the shop last week.0 -
Looks bent to me, might be your hanger, in which case your LBS should be able to straighten it. If it's the mech cage, you can just bend it back by hand. It'll never be spot on, but it's better than buying a new mech, which is the other option if it really bugs you.0

Damn it, you've all agreed which is bad news :x
Don't suppose a replacement X0 comes cheaply........
Just stripping it all down and cleaning it up to get a better idea of it's twisted. Hoping it's the hanger twisted where it fixes to the thru axle (X12)0 -

All cleaned, torqued up and 'persuaded' and it seems ok now - still looks bent but shifts well. Went tubeless whilst I was at it!
Shakedown ride in the morning, I'll try not to fall off and land on the mech again (must have done before but was occupied with my bloodied legs instead!).0
