Routes near Haverhill, Suffolk

Just getting back into mountain biking and am after some good routes near by. Dragged the bike over to Thetford forest and did the beater and lime burner trail which was great fun. But finding it surprisingly hard to find great spots.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Tougher the better.

    Plenty of brIdleways around Bury, just grab an OS map and go explore. You'll not be getting any big climbs or descents mind, but there is some good XC but it's largely unmarked. Plenty of woodland trails dotted around too, just explore.

    How close to Haverhill are you? Im part of a group called the 'Knobblies' in Haverhill. We meet up on a wednesday & have a couple of routes(20+miles). We sometimes have rides to Thetford, Cannock & we had a weekend in Afan/Cwmcarn in april. Theres a few routes locally but nothing too technical!!! :D
