Trek 9.8 Carbon rear stay

Hi all
Does any one know if the above carbon stay will fit the trek ex9 ?

    Even if it does, don't fit it for the love of god.

    i was gonna say warranty issues/the fact its 15 quid on ebay looks dodgy, and that it wiuldnt really save you much weight.

    Not that dodgy. I can imagine that an issue somewhere else on the frame means a warranty replacement, seller now has some frame parts that are ok but not required. For £15 if you needed one, it would be well worth a punt.

    It seems plausible to me.

    Seller broke main frame, Trek replaced whole lot (unusual, they're infamous for replacing just the broken part, leaving you with a mismatched bike, but still...), seller has some seat and chainstays he may as well flog.

    If it's already broken then why sell it? The second someone gets it they're gonna notice.
