New bike time :D - What colour bar tape?

Finally got the bike I have fancied for some time now, a nice Giant TCR Advanced 1 have only had a quick ride and it feels lovely and super stiff! Few things to still change/setup want to move the shifters further down the bars and then rotate them up a little, need to chop a little off the steerer and also need to change the tyres to ZX's or R1's.

There is a more pressing matter though, what colour bar tape ? White or red ?

Saw that you'd put the PX up for sale and was wondering what was coming next.

    Anyway though, bar tape

Got to be red that gets my vote, or black would look quite stealthy.

Actually, I'd say red. And sort your steerer column out.
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

There are some things you should always give to someone who can be held accountable.

True, but that only applies to things that are actually hard to do.

Fair, but if it keeps him off his new quick bike for longer...

Red - I see you already have Fizik microtx, but I can really recommend the Selle Italia stuff they have at Planet X for £5.99 - bargain, and looks / feels really nice.

Ah. but do you have a white saddle?

Seriously though, it looks good in red.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
  • Just refer to the rules, either mathcing you sadle or the main head tube colour if the front, middle and back are different colours.

Simple decision, Red (else change your sadle, black or white are the only allowable colours i'm afraid)
If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. PM for details.

And here it is in red!

Took it for a nice ride after work today and it feels lovely, its amazing the difference a really stiff bike makes, now to shake this horrible cold so I can get some decent miles in and some races in on it!

LBS only said £10 to sort it so will prob get them to do it seeing as I don't actually have a hacksaw (just hacksaw blades it seems for some reason)

Lovely bike the red tape really sets it off :)

HOWEVER -10 man points for lack of Hacksaw. Next you will be saying you lack spanners, sockets or a lump hammer.

I'd give him +100 man points if he could build a bike without those
