As the title says really.
I've decided I need to get myself some decent allen keys after using the free ones off the front of magazines for too long. I've been looking at these but can't decide:
Park - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=17507
Pedros - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=13808
Or are this type better - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=13245
Thanks

I've had a set of park ones for over 15years and they are still perfect, not rounded etc. Pedros are supposed to be very good quality as well so both would serve you well.0

How about these:

I have had a set for years and they are excellent. I only buy bike specific tools like bottom bracket wrenches etc from Park, everything else is no better than any other quality tool manufacturer but is more expensive.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Yes they have a proffesional range and a budget range.0 -
I wouldn't buy a set of plain allen keys, I would go for a set with a handle - much more control in my opinion. Something like these:

or if you want to go up market:

Anything by Bondhus or Wiha. I have a set of Bondhus allen keys that must be almost 30 years old and got used at work virtually every day for 20 of those years. They dont get used a lot these days because they are plain ended and I prefer my Wiha ball ended ones but 30 years and still in good nick cant be bad. Park used to be top quality but some of there kit is looking a little cheap these days I think corners are being cut.
If you cant afford Bondhus, Wiha or Park try the Halfords pro ones but make sure they are the pro the cheaper ones are made out of cast lead and will look like a Curly Wurly the first time you put some beef behind themFig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -
