Is anyone on here using Fulcrum racing zero clincher wheels? I have seen a few people asking about them v other wheels like Dura ace C24's but I wanted to get some user reviews. I am 78kg RTR and want a nice none flexy pair of wheels.

I am considering some of these instead of some custom builds for my SL-4 to use as day to day wheels. The deals on them from some shops make them very appealing. The only thing is the proprietary spokes so I would buy a few to keep in the tool box.

Largely positive comments I think. I absolutely love mine - seriously stiff and so far untouched by british b roads!

I am a similar weight and the zero's are plenty stiff enough, but I don't use them much. I prefer to ride handbuilts as mine are a little more forgiving without being flexy (Velocity aeroheads 32/32)

It's on the climbs I have noticed the biggest benefits. Lovely and lightweight but stiffness has meant no flex or break rub. I only intended to use them for best, but haven't been able to bring myself to take them off for months!

Gotta pair. Roll very smoothly, and are very stiff. No problems so far!

I have a pair which I have been running on my best bike for 14 months. I can't fault them, roll extremely well, nice & stiff. I wanted robust wheels due to my size/weight & I am very pleased with them so far.

very very good wheels ,excellent for climbing but also for sprinting as the are stiff, still comfy though due to the alloy spokes and freewheel down a hill they pick up speed really quick,

can you tell i like them ! havent got any more as i moved to campy (the dark side) but shamals are exactly the same performance wish.

Unfortunately aluminium alloy is the worst possible material to build spokes... a combination of low tensile strength, galling issues of the threads and a tendency to develop fatigue cracks much quicker than steel, make them a significant downgrade or a stupid way to save a few grams, whichever way you want to see it.
The Zero are built to look good for two to three seasons of light to moderate use, a typical example of disposable/non serviceable wheelset. For that price one can get something that makes more sense

    Ok, now crucify me...
