Hello
I'm off the ride the Megavalanche in a few weeks time and have just realised that as our group is all blokes (apart from me!) I am going to be a billy-no-mates at the top
It woudl be great to see a friendly face up there and may help calm my already frazzled nerves...

Helloooo
Had a great week, but did all the practice runs but bailed on the race itself! I knew it would be a huge challenge but in the end it was too much whilst being chased down by the guys behind (as I would have been!). I'm glad I went and tried the course as otherwise I would always have wondered if I COULD have done it, but having done so I can honestly say that I have no desire to ride down Alpine black DH runs with angry French men behind me ever again
My MTBing ego has rather taken a battering though - i'll probably be entering endless xc races now to redeem myself to the MTBing gods.... :?Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....

Cheers for the link Nick
Hey congrats for taking it on! That takes major balls- I rode part the track whilst out there on a press camp and man there's some real techy sections. It's hard enough picking a line out when there's 3/4 of you riding, can't imagine what it must be like with hundreds of people around you!
There's no need to feel like you need to redeem yourself - you had the courage to go out there and try it - i'm still trying to build up to it, next year maybe... (although i've been saying that for the last few years!) ;-)Come Chat to us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BikeRadar
