Hi All
I have a 2007 Marzocchi 66 RC2 ETA for and whist the fork is run at 1800mm travel the fork is fin i can reach approx 90% of the travel. However when i use the 30mm travel step down funtion the fork stiffens right up and im lucky if i can get an inch to a inch and a half of the remaining travel on the fork.
Does this fork have a lockout function ?
many thanks
Darren

well it has an ETA function wich is a travel reducer and will compress the fork down to about 30mm getting stiffer all the time as you compress the fork dureing use.
what is the problem?
or is the fork new to you and you dont know how it works?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

When the ETA fuction is used the fork stiffens up to the point that the fork acts almost as a rigid.
If im lucky the fork will compress a further 30mm but no way near the 150mm that im assuming that it should be capable of.
Also i am new to this fork as well so i may be getting a little confused as to what its capabilities are.

the ETA is a travel reducer and should not be used for normal riding.ETA
By simply using the command during ascent, the suspension will compress to the ideal height (depending on the riders’ weight). Unlike a traditional locking system, when activated, the ETA system allows 30mm travel to overcome small obstacles and improve comfort respect to a total lock.
