This is my 2008 Trek Madone. I mostly use it for commuting to work (about 45 miles round trip) as well as group rides / charity rides. Really looking forward to getting it on the crit courses this summer though!

Most current photo'd setup. (It actually has another, de sticker'd Aelous wheelset on it now).

Lovely. Madones or Trek in general get a hard time on here but many overlook what is probably the best series of bikes available due to other prejudices.

    Typical Trek owners response.

Looks really good, prefer the stealth look rather than the white stem/ tyres etc.

To be fair, having never owned a Trek but having ridden and sold a good few, the Madone series are excellent bikes.

Typical anyones response to a brand they've experienced and enjoyed. Not just exclusive to Trek owners methinks. :D

  • Lovely bike, it must be a pleasure commuting on that! Did you de-sticker and get a respray for the frame?

Thanks for the compliments all! I enjoy Treks, as well as other road bikes, but with Trek being my first road bike i'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the brand.

The bike is sort of a P1 bike, hence the limited graphics. As for the wheels, I just peeled the stickers off. The top image, due to my iPhone, looks very black. The main color of the bike is actually a smoked bare carbon, which usually always looks black in photos.
